Welcome to Our Parent Council Pages
Our next Parent Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13th June at 7.00-8.30 pm in BA Library. Please feel free to join us - any parent is welcome to attend.
We want to encourage as many parents as possible to participate. Don't worry! We won't be asking you to fund raise or to take on additional responsibilities, we just want you to contribute to the discussion and give us your valuable time to help the school "Be the Best it can Be".
What does the Parent Council do?
Represents the views of the Parent Forum (that is all Parents and Carers of pupils who attend the Academy) by acting as a consultation group between parents and the school's management team.
Represents the views of parents with the Local Authority and the National Government in matter concerning your child's education.
Appointed by the Parent Forum (at it's AGM).
Meets regularly within the school.
Consists of parent members, co-opted members and staff members
Offers another opportunity for parents / carers to become involved in their children's education.
