One of our two teams successfully made it through to the 2nd heat of The Donald Dewar Debating competition! Jonathan Horn and Sophie Bradford will compete again on the 31st of January here in our library at 7pm!

The motion is: ‘The proposed use of performance enhancing drugs in professional sport’ please come along and offer your support.

Schools competing on the 31st will be: Bo’ness Academy v’s The James Young High School & Falkirk High v’s Broxburn Academy.

Huge congratulations and thanks to our other team: Shannon Osborne and Nathan Calder who unfortunately did not make it through to the next heat.

If you’re interested in debating – come along to room 6 in the English department (Ms McIntyre’s) during lunch every Monday!
